Is the energy transition stalling? Vattenfall Capital Markets Day – November 28, 2023
Vattenfall will host a capital markets day for investors, analysts and media in Solna on November 28.
The energy market is in a major transition which brings attractive possibilities but there are also hurdles. We see supply chain challenges, changed prerequisites for funding and there are also concerns that European climate targets will be difficult to achieve. A relevant question is therefore: Is the energy transition stalling? Participants are invited to a discussion around this theme as well as an update on Vattenfall’s journey to fossil freedom. This year, we also offer a site visit to the combined heat and power plant in Uppsala.
Back at Vattenfall head office, CEO Anna Borg will present our strategic outlook followed by a presentation by CFO Kerstin Ahlfont who will focus on the financial perspective. The heads of Vattenfall’s Business Areas will join several presentations and panel discussions. There will be ample opportunities for Q&As.
Agenda includes:
- Site visit to Uppsala combined heat and power plant
- Nuclear – today and in the future
- The case of offshore wind
- Decarbonisation of our own operations and beyond
There are limited number of seats available for this event. Please contact Tobias Sjöberg, Investor Relations Officer, if you would like to attend.
