Jonas Bengtsson appointed as new SVP General Counsel and Corporate Security & Resilience at Vattenfall

Jonas Bengtsson has been appointed as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Head of Corporate Security & Resilience at Vattenfall. He will succeed Anne Gynnerstedt who has chosen to leave the company in August 2024 after a long and successful career. Bengtsson will start in his new role after summer.

Jonas Bengtsson has a long career in legal, heading Group General Counsels and Corporate Affairs at different companies for over two decades. He’s currently Head of Corporate Affairs at Polarium Energy Solutions in Stockholm, but has his background in the telecoms sector, most recently at Telia Company and before that at Tele2. Bengtsson has extensive work experience in handling complex matters related to regulatory compliance, stock exchange and capital market, transactions and strategic stakeholder management in global and publicly traded companies.
