Vattenfall’s continued commitment to DEI
These achievements reflect the impact of Vattenfall’s comprehensive strategy for promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion through its Positive Action Plan. Central to this progress was the establishment of the Vattenfall DEI Office, quickly followed by the launch of key initiatives such as the Inclusive Leadership Journey and License to Hire training programmes, designed to empower and support hiring managers. Additionally, over 60 events and workshops combined were organised and delivered in 2024, underscoring Vattenfall's commitment to fostering an inclusive work culture. The company also recognised key dates and engaged meaningfully in important moments through its group wide DEI Calander, such as International Women’s Day, World Autism Awareness Day and Pride, demonstrating its dedication to showing up where it matters.

These efforts have placed Vattenfall among Europe’s top Diversity Leaders. In 2025, the company will build on its achievements through internal and external campaigns, focusing on raising awareness and promoting the benefits of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for all employees. With more robust DEI legislation expected in Europe, Vattenfall will ensure compliance through comprehensive, data-driven action plans tailored to different focus areas.
