Anna-Karin Stenberg new Head of Vattenfall Business Area Markets

Anna-Karin Stenberg has been appointed as new Senior Vice President and Head of Business Area Markets and member of Vattenfall’s Executive Group Management (EGM) as of 1 January 2021. She has already filled this position in an acting role since end of March this year, in addition to her role as Head of Controlling for Business Area Markets.

Together with the management team, she has shown a very strong commitment to lead the business forward and to develop a very modern organisation.”

Anna-Karin Stenberg joined Vattenfall in 2018 as Head of Controlling for Business Area Markets and had already worked for the company from 2008 to 2011 as Chief Financial Officer for Business Group Nordics. She has leadership experience in the energy, engineering, telecommunications and health care sectors.
