Appointments of new members of the Executive Group Management

Three new members of Vattenfall’s Executive Group Management (EGM) have been appointed. Kerstin Ahlfont, currently Head of HR, is appointed new CFO. Christian Barthélémy is appointed new Head of HR and Ulrika Jardfelt new Head of Vattenfall’s Business Area Heat.

Kerstin Ahlfont has been appointed new CFO of Vattenfall. She has worked within Vattenfall since 1995 and has had several manager positions within finance. Since 2015 she is Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources and member of the EGM in Vattenfall. Kerstin Ahlfont starts as CFO November 1 2020.

Christian Barthélémy has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources. He is currently Vice President for Special Projects and has earlier been Vice President for Real Estate & Facility Management at Vattenfall. He also has experience from Shared Service Operations and has a background from KPMG. He starts his new position January 1 2021.

Ulrika Jardfelt has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Business Area Heat. She is currently head of BU Heat Sweden and has previously been Head of District Heating Distribution at EON and CEO of Swedish District Heating AB. Ulrika Jardfelt starts her new position December 1 2020 and succeeds Tuomo Hatakka who retires at the end of the year.

The role as Country Manager in Germany and Chairman in Vattenfall GmbH will be appointed at a later stage.
