Johan Dasht appointed new SVP Business Area Generation

Currently heading the Vattenfall’s hydro operations in the Nordics, Dasht will succeed Torbjörn Wahlborg, who has chosen to leave the company after a long and successful career. He will start in his new role on November 1.

“Johan has solid experience of our business and a broad perspective on our most important issues. He is also a valued leader, known for his clarity and results orientation. I really look forward to welcoming him to Vattenfall's group management”, says Anna Borg, Vattenfall’s CEO.

“I’m humbled and honoured to join Vattenfall’s executive group management team”, says Johan Dasht. “We are in a time where we must secure and develop our electricity production while facing the opportunity of further expanding it. Working at Vattenfall in this regard is very inspiring where we have a clear vision, strong competence and, above all, committed employees.”

Johan Dasht will report to Vattenfall’s CEO Anna Borg and will be a member of the Executive Group Management team.
