Vattenfall responds to UK Government's energy security plan

Commenting on the UK Government's energy security plan, Vattenfall's interim UK Country Manager, Lisa Christie, said:

"Energy security is delivered through home grown energy, with renewables as the backbone.  The fact that the Government recognises the need to speed up planning timescales for offshore wind and grid improvements is positive, but these - and the need to create a more positive investment climate for renewables developers - are issues which must now be addressed with some urgency.”
