Vattenfall's response to a pro-growth package announced by the UK Government today

This morning the UK Government announced a pro-growth package which will look at supporting the full potential of the Planning and Infrastructure Bill.

Welcoming the announcement, Vattenfall's Head of UK Public & Regulatory Affairs, Lisa Christie, said:

“Speeding up planning for onshore energy infrastructure is essential if the UK is to meet its clean energy ambitions and attract the investment needed to deliver it. Cutting delays means more jobs and faster progress towards lower bills and energy security.

“This is a chance to replace uncertainty with clarity and pace. A streamlined system that supports well-designed projects will help unlock the full potential of the UK’s energy transition.”
