Vattenfall’s Board of Directors changes dividend proposal

Vattenfall’s Board of Directors has today, Tuesday, at an extraordinary meeting decided to withdraw its dividend proposal of SEK 7.2 billion to the owner and instead proposes that the Annual General Meeting decides on a dividend of SEK 3.6 billion.

Given current uncertainties around the economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the continuing weak market for electricity in the Nordics, the Board has decided to reduce the proposal to SEK 3.6 billion as a precautionary measure.
