New HVDC contract for the Norfolk Vanguard East Wind Farm
Vattenfall has signed a contract for the supply of a high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system for the Norfolk Vanguard East Wind Farm, which follows on from the contract for Norfolk Vanguard West which was signed on 8 November.
The contract gives Siemens Energy and Aker Solutions responsibility for engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the onshore and offshore converter stations for Norfolk Vanguard East.
