New HVDC contract for the Norfolk Vanguard West Wind Farm
Vattenfall has signed a contract for the supply of a high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system for the Norfolk Vanguard West Wind Farm, the first phase of Vattenfall’s whole Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone.
The contract gives Siemens Energy and Aker Solutions responsibility for engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the onshore and offshore converter stations for Norfolk Vanguard West.
