Environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings
Vattenfall is assessed by several sustainability rating agencies on our ESG performance.
These ratings are becoming an increasingly important consideration for our investors as well as for our business customers. We want to be as open and transparent as possible in our sustainability reporting and we are proud to be highly ranked for our sustainability performance. The below table shows the agencies we actively engage with and our most recent rating scores.

| MSCI | ESG rating mainly for the investment community. Uses a rules-based methodology to identify industry leaders and laggards. | Sustainalytics | ESG rating mainly for the investment community.
